ETF Position Paper
The European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF) has produced a position document on the European Commission's Transport White Paper ‘Roadmap to a Single European Transport Area - Towards a competitive and resource efficient transport system'.
The ETF position document discusses the views and proposals contained in the White Paper, in particular those which are cause for major concern. Areas of concern highlighted in the ‘Road Transport' section of the document include liberalisation of cabotage; labour costs; urban congestion; road safety and working conditions
