Families could lose over 2,500 pounds in tax credit cuts from today

With tax credit changes that could leave families thousands of pounds out of pocket taking effect from today, the TUC has launched a tax credit calculator to help parents find out how they will be affected.

Default Retirement Age

Subject to Parliamentary approval, the law on the Default Retirement Age (DRA) will change on 6 April 2011. Thereafter the DRA will be phased out over a transitional period running until 30 September 2011.
