Supporting Women - Building Confidence & Self Development

13/4/2010

Unionlearn is offering a free one day workshop, on 21 April in Nottingham, for any woman worker who would like to enhance their potential in the workplace or social environment.

This is a fun and highly practical course for any woman who has a role within their union, the aim is to build higher levels of confidence to meet the challenges of a changing career and develop practical tools to aid self development. Packed with practical ideas and techniques, this is an ideal course to help you to build your confidence to take the next step.

If you are woman working in an administration role, on a production line, on a reception desk, in your community or doing any job where you want to move up the ladder but are too unsure to go for it. This course will enable you to build your confidence to take on those extra responsibilities; in your union, at work and within your personal life.

The workshop will include a self assessment exercise so that you as a woman can identify areas that can influence confidence and build a strategy for your own development and your members. All of the learning activities will be team-based and practical, requiring participants to reflect on the key learning points.
