VOSA Fixed Penalty Fines
The URTU Executive Committee thought it helpful to provide members with a list of fixed penalty fines that can be issued by them. The full VOSA ‘Enforcement Sanctions Policy’ is a 276 page document. We have whittled it down to a list that most drivers would be responsible for and limited it to fines and endorsements.
Most of the mentioned ‘offences and penalties’ are the same, or similar, for EU, Domestic and AETR. There are also separate sections for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods, Driver Licensing, ADI, Insurance and Driver CPC. Vehicle Excise and Trade Plates. LGV and PCV Operator Licensing, Plating and Testing and Miscellaneous Offences.
You could lose your licence should you accumulate more than 12 points at one roadside inspection! If in doubt, please check for yourself. It is your licence.
