The United Road Transport Union (URTU) is a dedicated non-political Union supporting members within the logistics sector such as drivers and warehouse operatives.

Being part of a Union gives you a voice in your workplace, fighting for fairness, We Are Stronger Together.

Three of our members across two Allied Bakeries sites have recently celebrated 40 years of membership within the United Road Transport Union.  To help celebrate this a small party was organised to present each member with an engraved Union tankard.

The Downstream Fuel Distribution Forum (DFDF) was established in 2012 to provide a collaborative platform for the discussion and resolution of issues relating to health and safety as well as training in the downstream fuel industry.

#HeartUnions week runs from the 12-18 February 2024, and is a chance to promote the vital work unions do to support everyone at work and encourage them to join a union.

The theme for this year’s campaign is promoting the work unions have done in securing Pay raises.
