Mental health doesn’t look the same for everyone, and for many men the signs are subtle — or hidden entirely. Depression can arrive as fatigue, irritability, or withdrawal rather than tears. Anxiety often shows up as anger, overworking, or numbing through substances. Loneliness and isolation quietly worsen physical health, impair decision-making and erode motivation. Shame and cultural expectations about toughness make it harder for men to ask for help, so problems are left to spin until they become crises.

Introduction of EES in October 2025

Here is a letter received from the Department for Transport 

We are writing to remind you of the operational considerations that the introduction of the European Union’s (EU) Entry/ Exit System (EES) later this year will raise for UK-based transport operators who conduct services to and from the EU. This letter also provides information on a research survey that will be conducted on behalf of DfT in August-September 2025 on commercial journeys from the UK to the EU. We would welcome your participation in this study.
